I’m Malissa—a surface designer who creates whimsical worlds in gouache and watercolor and turns them into joyful patterns and illustrations for products, packaging, and brands that want to stand out with hand painted art.
I believe that art can help us to make everyday things feel a little more special—whether it’s a cozy throw, a notebook, or the perfect wrapping paper. My patterns and illustrations are designed to bring a smile to your face, tell a story, and help your product connect with the people who love it most.
When I’m not trying out new art supplies…or dreaming up new ways to make a blender pattern, you’ll probably find me sipping something delicious while I'm thrifting for vintage treasures, puttering in my garden, or watching British mysteries with my sweet German Shepherd, Loki- Dog of Mischief nearby.
